The Tapematic BT Coating II is an extremely compact and versatile system for UV coating applications with the highest quality requirements. It is suitable for coating parts up to 102 mm diameter and 130 mm height, where a specified layer thickness must be precisely held within very tight tolerances. It is designed to be extremely efficient in order to achieve the highest yield requested in today’s markets such as cosmetic packaging, food and beverage packaging, automotive and pharmaceutical.
The Tapematic BT Coating II sets new standard for UV coating application. With its, increased capacity, lower varnish consumption, faster changeovers and a process free of operator variables, brings to a next level the efficiency in today’s industries.
Up to 7800 pieces can be processed per hour. Trays travel along a conveyor between the different modules. Up to 13 parts are arranged on a single tray. New formats are quick and easy to set-up, and different configurations can be stored in the system for instant recall and fast changeover, enabling production short runs for greater flexibility.
The finely tuned interaction between the system technology, the coating system and the workpiece geometry is a decisive factor when it comes to achieving efficient production processes. It is always important to reduce the reject rate as much as possible. For this reason Tapematic BT Coating II can be equipped with a 3D HD camera-based optical inspection. This allows to inspect and grade every part instantaneously. It can check for consistency in the coating and spot even microscopic manufacturing flaws in shape, coating or imperfections. All without any operator presence or intervention.
