Frederic Dreux, R&D Packaging Leader - Prestige, Unilever
With more than 15 years of experience in packaging R&D, he has occupied different roles in different segments in Unilever.
His packaging journey started in Unilever’s Miko ice cream factory as packaging manager. He has then integrated European packaging team. He has then integrated the Cross-category packaging R&D team. He has been building and leading the Material and Technology Innovation team for Rigid Plastic aiming at packaging weight and cost reduction for Unilever R&D.
Since one year, he is Unilever Prestige Brand packaging leader supporting these fast growing Personal care brands on their packaging innovations combined with their sustainability agenda.
Corinne Fugier-Garrel, PCD Director - Packaging Concept Development, L'Occitane en Provence
Packaging engineer for more than 20 years, Corinne Fugier-Garrel has always evolved in International Cosmetic Companies such as l’Oréal, Coty and today L’Occitane.
Her expertise covers packaging development and product innovation – with a particular focus on the translation of marketing briefs into technical solutions.
Since 2015 at L’Occitane, Corinne has established and led the Packaging Concept Development team, with the objective to boost innovation in a constant quest to reduce the environmental impact.
Gael Le Bourgès, R&D Luxury Packaging Director, Coty
Gael Le Bourgès , COTY R&D Director Luxury, has been developing cosmetic packaging for the last 18 years as part of the COTY company. With an initial work experience in the UK for a large packaging supplier for the food industry, he has then joined COTY in Ashford – UK.
Gael developed mass makeup lineup, at the time, mostly for the global brand Rimmel. His expertise then moved to Luxury Fragrances, when he joined the Coty Chartres factory, managing fragrances’ launches for Davidoff, Jil Sander, and Jennifer Lopez.
Now based in Paris, Gael is leading globally the packaging Fragrance launches of Gucci, Hugo Boss, Chloé, Tiffany & Co., Lacoste, Davidoff, Jil Sander and Escada, ensuring the full respect of the brands’ DNA COTY is in charge of.
Jérôme Lerouge, Manager BP Eucerin, Beiersdorf
Graduated from the ESIReims (ex-ESIEC) packaging school and the RMS business school, Jérôme worked at different suppliers manufacturing metal and plastic packaging for both perfume & make up and mass market cosmetics.
He then joined the Beiersdorf group 5 years ago where he had the chance to be develop exciting packaging for worldwide famous brands like NIVEA and NIVEA MEN. Since 3 years he is leading the DERMA packaging development team, developing products and innovations for our DERMA brands EUCERIN & AQUAPHOR.
Jean-Christophe Le Joncour, Industrial Director chemistry & cosmetics, Decathlon
Jean-Christophe is the director of the chemistry and cosmetic industrial department at Decathlon. The engineers of his team design the products and manage the primary packaging of this perimeter (220 ref. / 50 product typologies / primary packaging: flacon, pot, tube, spray, aerosol, gas cartridges..). They collaborate with more than 30 internal project teams for different signed sports (Forclaz-Trekking, B’Twin – Bike Care, Fouganza – Horse Riding..).
Pascale Marciniak Davoult, Research & Innovation Director, Chanel
Pascale Marciniak-Davoult, CHANEL Research and Innovation Packaging Director, has been leading the Innovation Department for 12 years. Audacity and Creativity, key values of the Brand, have been central to the creation of innovative products launched throughout this period.
Hervé Bouix, Senior VP Packaging Innovation, Estée Lauder
Hervé is a graduate of the CNFTC-ENSIA School. He joined L’Oréal in 1982 as an Advanced Packaging Development Engineer in Clichy. From 1989 to 1993 he worked in Operational Packaging at VICHY for the Skincare, Suncare and Basic Men’s Line categories, then for 3 years (1993 to 1996) in Operational Packaging at Helena Rubinstein on Axe Maquillage.
From 1996 to date he has managed Corporate Packaging Innovation at Estée Lauder (35 Brands) where he created the ”Packaging New Ventures” department. In 2009 he was promoted to Senior VP Packaging Innovation. Hervé and his team are the holders of approximately 120 packaging patents registered and marketed numerous make-up and mascara products.
Françoise Albasini, Former Editor, Emballage Digest
Editor-in-chief of several magazines specialising in packaging for almost 25 years, including Emballage Digest, Françoise Albasini has followed and continues to follow this highly dynamic sector.
Her view of the packaging industry, the user markets – food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals – and the technological sector (machines/processes) gives her a global vision of the whole, necessary to adapt to an increasingly interdisciplinary world.
David Bayard, Dir. Technical Packaging Development, L'Occitane en Provence
David Bayard, 46 years old, Packaging Engineer, has more than 20 years of experience in consumer goods, Luxury Goods and Cosmetics companies. His expertise covers the fields of Packaging Development, quality and packaging. At Laboratoires M&L in Manosque, the company in charge of marketing the L’Occitane group’s products, he has been managing the Packaging Development Department since 2015 and is also in charge of the group’s Packaging Eco-Design.
He supports the L’Occitane-En-Provence brand in achieving its ambitious sustainable commitments, particularly in the fight against plastic pollution.
Annie Begnaud, Founder, Marketing & Business Development in Beauty & Luxury, ab agency
Annie Begnaud founded ab agency to help companies grow their business with Beauty & Luxury brands. Her scope ranges from Packaging and Sampling industries up to Digital solutions providers, in this case focusing on data-enriched solutions for enhanced consumers-brands relationships.
Passionate about Innovation and Trends, experienced and creative Business Development Director in the Beauty & Luxury markets for industrial and service companies including Sleever and Arcade Beauty, she provides core marketing & business growth strategy as well as operational responses on the field.
CEW France Board member, she created and leads the Beauty Start-Up Committee within the association.

Alain Bethune is a former packaging director at L’Oréal and now works as a consultant across the beauty packaging sector.

Solid operations professional with a specialized Master’s degree in purchasing management (DESMA) from IAE de Grenoble.

Monique Large, Consumer Trends and Insights Expert, Pollen Consulting
Advising major brands and retailers for almost twenty years, Monique Large identifies emerging trends, opening new opportunities to innovate in a meaningful manner through this complex future. Significant signs of change are spotted and analysed based on cross disciplinary observation, through field research, in the press, Internet and especially social media. Mapped together and analysed these provide strategic reading grids of sociocultural trends applied to lifestyle, technology, design, retail or packaging issues. Monique Large graduated from a design school (Camondo) and gets involved in packaging innovation projects through upstream studies. Beside consulting she also writes a monthly column at Emballages Magazine providing some inspireful insights picked-up in social media discussions.
Christophe Mantoz, WW Sales Manager Cosmetics Category, Eurostampa, partner member of ESIReims
Packaging engineer (ESIEC), Christophe Mantoz have been working for more than 15 years in the packaging sector, including more than 10 years in the cosmetics sector.
Sales Manager France of ARDAGH group and then Head of Sales of AUTAJON group, he has since 2017 taken the global responsibility for the cosmetics business of EUROSTAMPA group which produces labels and sleeves from 6 plants (Ohio, California, Mexico, UK, France and Italy).
He pilots the partnership EUROSTAMPA – ESIREIMS (Ecole nationale supérieure des ingénieurs de Reims) set up in 2018 with the aim of supporting engineering students in their recruitment, their training, but also their search for internships or jobs.
Axel Marot, Director Supply Chain and Operations, Interparfums
Axel Marot graduated from Kedge Business School in Supply Chain Management after a Master’s degree in Biochemistry. He began his career at Nestlé in the Purchasing and Supply Chain sector before joining Interparfums in 2003. Director of Operations since 2010, his scope of responsibility includes Purchasing, packaging and promotional development, Supply Chain and subcontracting management.
