Student Q&A I Elisa Monchamp gives us her opinion on the future of packaging
The professionals of tomorrow give us their vision of packaging and their experience at ADF&PCD and PLD Paris through an exclusive interview with Elisa Monchamp, a student at ESEPAC school, and on a on a work-study programme by working at Groupe Pochet
What is your dream pack?
A fully customisable and reusable perfume bottle… and the story is written by the customer:
The customer chooses a bottle size (30ml, 50ml, 100ml …) among several standard shapes (round, square or rectangle), then they choose the liquid, and then they can personalise the bottle – including the decoration and cap. I imagine a decoration that can easily be “removed” and therefore replaced when the bottle is reused. And of course, the bottle would be reusable and re-customisable as well.
How do you see the future of packaging in the years to come?
I see the future of packaging as greener, more standardised, and therefore more eco-friendly – ensuring its reusable and recyclable whilst maintaining the brand image and personality of the product.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time and why?
I hope to continue in the world of packaging whilst keeping up with the advances and innovations. I would like to work on the development of packaging innovation in the perfume and cosmetics sector.
